Cut back the Siberian bugloss
Cut it back once flowering has finished for a second flush of leaves, and perhaps autumn flowers.

Gardeners call this the Hampton hack.
Almost to the ground, straight after its first flowers. Fresh leaves follow, and often a second flush of flowers.
