Planting
Plant a pot-grown blueberry at any time of year, 1 to 2m apart, rows 2.4 to 3m apart. Strong sources: RHS and University of New Hampshire.
Winter-prune the blueberry
Cut out up to a quarter of the oldest, thickest stems at the base. From RHS.
Usually January to February. Moderate source: Gardeners’ World.
Mulch the blueberry
Spread 5-7.5cm of acidic material, such as composted or chipped pine bark.
